Colchester have completed the signing of powerful defender Magnus Okuonghae from Dagenham.

The 23-year-old's performances for the Daggers last season, both at centre-half and right-back, attracted the attention of a host of clubs but he has opted to pen a two-year deal at the Community Stadium.

Okuonghae becomes U`s boss Paul Lambert's fourth signing of the summer, joining David Fox, Ashley Vincent and Lee Beevers in north Essex.
