Pana cut a deal for Leto

Wed 01 Jul, 08:29 AM

Liverpool winger Sebastian Leto is to join Greek outfit Panathinaikos.

The 22-year-old Argentinian spent last season on loan with Pana's rivals Olympiacos after work permit problems prevented him playing for the Barclays Premier League club.

Leto signed for the Reds in August 2007, making his debut in a Champions League qualifier against Toulouse later that month and going on to make three further senior appearances.

  4. He was the star for the reserves when he was playing for them, but you're right, he never got the chance to prove himself in the EPL.

To be fair he was probably a little inexperienced and a little lightweight when he was with us but it wasn't a problem that couldn't be sorted out in time.
