Emmanuel Adebayor has ruled out leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer and revealed he has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal. The 24-year-old Togo international joined Arsenal in January 2006 and was outstanding last season, prompting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.
But Adebayor has opted to stay with Arsene Wenger's team, and told the club's website: "Now I can tell everyone that, yes, I will sign a contract.
"I'm feeling very good here, very well here, and at the moment my heart is with Arsenal."
He added: "I never told anyone I would be leaving this club, never ever.
"I'm very happy we've found a solution.
"I have three years left on my contract and I'm putting two or three years more, so I'm very happy being part of this family."
Adebayor joined from Wenger's former club Monaco and revealed his relationship with the manager has never faltered since his move to London.
"When we started talking about my contract I never told him I'd be leaving this club and he knew my desire," said Adebayor.
"My desire was to stay at this club so for me he's like my father, he's my boss so whatever he tells me I'll do it, so our relationship at the moment is always strong. There is no doubt about that."

loyalty!! ade is only staying because of 100% pay rise...remember the speculation was started by him, he said on one hand he was staying and then said he had other offers. he's not loyal at all, next year same thing will happen, he'll want more money.
I bet Man United fans must be wishing Ronaldo would speak up and say the same thing. Good on you Ade, it's good to see loyalty to a club from a player.
