Notts County defender Mike Edwards has been handed the captain's armband ahead of the new League Two season.Edwards was named club captain last summer but missed much of the season because of a broken leg.
However, after signing a new two-year deal earlier this summer, he will now take the armband from Adam Tann ahead of the new campaign - his fifth at Meadow Lane.
Boss Ian McParland told the club's official website: "Mike will be the captain for the new season.
"He is a terrific professional and we're delighted he chose to stay with us."
