Stoke's £3million signing Seyi Olofinjana has been granted a work permit.

The 28-year-old midfielder joined from Wolves on a four-year deal last Saturday and his permit was granted this morning.

Stoke manager Tony Pulis has given Olofinjana time to recuperate following his international commitments with Nigeria over the summer and is unlikely to play the Nigerian in the friendly against Shrewsbury on Saturday.
