Golden Graham steals the show
David Graham ran the show for Dunfermline as they cruised into the second round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup with a 5-0 win at Dumbarton.
Graham fired his side in front after two minutes from Willie Gibson's cross as Dumbarton stuttered and he played in Andy Kirk for a second seven minutes later. Graham's cross was nodded down by Graeme Bayne and Kirk swept the ball home.
Dumbarton fought back and visiting keeper Greg Fleming blocked Derek Carcary's shot before Alex Burke claimed Pars' third on the stroke of half-time.
Kirk brought up his brace when he fired home another great Graham cross 11 minutes after the restart and Steven Bell finally got his name on the score sheet midway through the second-half when he nodded home Steven McDougall's cross.
Dumbarton's misery deepened as they finished the game with only ten men on the pitch after Iain Chisholm was dismissed for his second bookable offence, while defender Ritchie McKillen suffered ligament damage.
