Wigan's preparations for the new Barclays Premier League season suffered a setback at Carrow Road as they lost 3-2 to League One Norwich despite leading twice.
The Latics went in front after just nine minutes through Charles N'Zogbia's cool finish but the impressive Canaries were back on terms before the break as Chris Martin side-footed home Jon Otsemobor's cross after some poor defending on the right.
Wigan, who made no fewer than eight changes at the break, quickly regained the lead through South Korean midfielder Cho Won-Hee who produced a superb finish after being set up by Jason Scotland's clever pass.
But the hosts had the final word, quickly equalising through Martin's second goal of the game before grabbing a winner in the 76th minute. Simon Whaley latched on to an inch-perfect cross-field ball from Wes Hoolahan before calmly sending the ball past Wigan goalkeeper Mike Pollitt.

Well done but it was only a friendly, Martinez is just seeing how well everybody is playing together.
I think and hope that canaries will do well but just remember how many changes Martinez made at half time.
come on you yellows!
This is the best pre-season i can remember! The tour of Scotland was tough - 3 wins -then Palace and now Wigin! Even the United kids were tough. Gunny is building a team with fight! Brill
