Alan Buckley is not fazed by the prospect of being unable to add to his Grimsby squad before the transfer window closes at midnight on Monday. The Mariners boss was expected to sign Manchester City defender Javan Vidal on a one-month loan deal last week, only for the youngster to pull out as he assesses his options.
With the loan window set to open next Monday, Buckley is in no rush to make his move in the transfer window.
"I've had a nightmare two days with this transfer business," said Buckley.
"The window shuts for permanent deals but within six days you can make loan signings.
"That shutting isn't the be all and end all."
