Shrewsbury Town have been boosted by Luke Daniels' inclusion in the squad to face Exeter in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday. The Shrews were concerned the on-loan goalkeeper would not be eligible, but he will feature and boosts a squad suffering from several niggles and knocks after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Notts County.
Boss Paul Simpson told the club's official website: "Without a doubt I want to win the game, I want to get through, it's not something we're going to be suicidal about if it doesn't happen but we want to go there and we want to win it.
"I think Exeter are a good side, I know they struggled a little but at the weekend against Luton so I'm hoping we can be strong and aggressive against them and give them a tough time and hopefully they won't test our goalkeeper."
Striker Richard Walker and defender Graham Coughlan (both hamstring) missed out at the weekend and will not return in time for the encounter.
Midfield duo Paul Murray and David Hunt both remain sidelined with hamstring and knee problems respectively.
