Rochdale manager Keith Hill has hit out at a section of supporters who jeered his players during Saturday's League Two draw with Bury.Dale came from behind in the second half to earn a 1-1 draw at Spotland after the Shakers led at the break.
Hill admitted his side's first-half display was "appalling" but he could not accept the abuse dished out from the stands.
Hill said: "I was very surprised about the reaction of some of the supporters.
"The players don't deserve it and I don't deserve it. We have come such a long way in the last 20 months or so.
"Sometimes people take you for granted and I won't be taken for granted and I won't let anyone who doesn't merit it take stick and be abused."
