Watford goalkeeper Mart Poom admitted 'the lads got me out of jail' after the 2-1 win over Ipswich on Saturday afternoon.Poom gifted Pablo Counago a second-minute opener when he mishit a clearance straight to the forward but second-half goals from John Eustace and John-Joe O'Toole gave Adrian Boothroyd's side victory.
A relieved Poom said: "The lads got me out of jail - it was my mistake and such a terrible start.
"I just sliced it instead of getting a good contact but there are no excuses from me.
"I put us on the back foot but I think we showed great character. If you look at the game there were chances for both teams throughout."
