Hull boss Phil Brown is still hopeful of landing Fraizer Campbell in a £7million deal.

Any deal could be dependant on Dimitar Berbatov's arrival at Old Trafford from Tottenham, but the newly-promoted Tigers are confident of landing the striker who spent a spell on loan at the KC Stadium last season.

Hull chairman Paul Duffen confirmed on Saturday the club have tabled a £7million bid and boss Brown has confirmed he is hopeful the England Under-21 international will make the move to East Yorkshire.

"It will be a boost for everybody if it comes off" Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "I certainly think Fraizer can handle pressure.
