Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson has turned down a move to Nottingham Forest because he wants to join QPR.
The Eagles accepted a bid for Watson, who was transfer-listed after refusing to sign a new contract at Selhurst Park, but the 23-year-old has rejected a switch to the newly-promoted side.
"Ben's turned Forest down," Palace boss Neil Warnock told the South London Press.
"It's not necessarily the case that he'll be leaving before the transfer deadline.
"Ben and his agent have made it clear that he wants to go to QPR, so I don't know where that leaves us."

watson's a smart bloke. he could smell success from miles away. that right, QPR would be the team that'll benefit his career, esp. when 2009/10 season, they'd well be in premier league.
Let the ginger wally join judas. No loyalty left in the game whatsoever. What the hell is going on at Palace? Tostock,Hudson,Clinton,Dougie,Soares & now Watson. Why are we allowing quality players to leave? Where has all the money gone to buy decent replacements?
Taking the FA to court over the Tostock debacle would bring in much needed cash. £5m was a fair valuation even on such a talented young player only to be well and truly shafted by the men in suits at the FA.
Is there any right of appeal???
