  1. I don't see chelsea wining the Premier League though they have good players. Their 100% start is just a child play. I hope to see their position when the league is about to finish.

  9. Chris, I'm a Stoke fan too. Hit the spot there mate. Made some brilliant signings especially in Tuncay, Whitehead, Collins, Huth and what I've seen of Arismendi. Europa League is a small possibility but I'd rather we weren't in it as our league form would suffer.
andyturnertwentyone has got to be one of the funniest commenters on Yahoo LMAO.

  13. Before i'm start, i'm not a fan of football.
I agree 100 per cent with CATWEAZLE.
the sport, i follow, the same thing is happening.
up till 20 years ago, the sport was going from strength
to strength, when a bright spark, decided he could make
a living in controlling the International side of the sport,
another bright spark, saw decided to do the same thing
with National side of the sport. what has happend, the
guys are making the money, using local clubs to run the
international or national parts of the sport, where the
    local clubs loose out financialy.
we are luckier, then Football clubs, because we can
go back to the grass roots of the sport, and start over
    again.
Im expecting lots of thumb downs.
As i have gone off subject.

  15. If you are a Football Fan your Hearts should go-out to the Portsmouth Fans Why you may Ask????
BECAUSE IT COULD BE YOUR CLUB NEXT!
The Money in the Game is KILLING Even the Better Clubs, we all know about the Wages but these so called Football Men are KILLING the Work Place that has made them Multi Millionairess.
It has to STOP! WITH Pro-zone up and running for some years and getting better by the year a player should be PAID on Performance's and if it comes to some weeks or months when a Player will get nothing SO BE IT!
We SHOULD be seeing Football that is Out Of This World! but we are NOT! THE only THING o.o.t.w is the Fees and Wages.
WAKE-UP FAN`S OF FOOTBALL AND STOP GOING TO THE GAMES,AS ONE WE! CAN SAVE OUR GAME!!!

  17. Very good 114, but i think you are missing a few details, 1 Only 2 players from pompey 2 Defoe has always been Spurs. 3 Crouch has played twice, scored once 4 Kranjcar has only just signed.
So where the hell do you get Pompey, are second in the league?. FOOL!!!

  19. Stoke have bought well during this window, and will surely consolidate their premiership status for another year. We won't be challenging for a champions league or europa place, but our once massive club is going in the right direction at last. Fill in the corners of our ground when we are an established prem force, andStoke city's expansion will bring back the days of glory for one of the oldest and proudest clubs in England. And before anyone gets arsey, by glory I mean competing in the top tier of our game consistently, not our sole big cup achievement of 1972 either:)

From chris, on Wed 2 Sep 1:50AM
