Burnley boss Owen Coyle has snapped up teenage striker Joe McKee from Livingston.
The 16-year-old ended last season training with the youth development programme at Turf Moor and has now signed a two-year scholarship with the Clarets.
Director of youth development Martin Dobson said: "Joe came down during pre-season for an extended period and liked the area and the coaching.
"He settled quickly in the new environment and his parents were also comfortable with their son coming to Burnley Football Club, which we are delighted about.
"The youth department is also very pleased Joe has agreed to join the Scholarship scheme as a first-year trainee. He is the right type of player with very good ability, a great attitude and we look forward to a successful relationship."
