Murray to face Young in Bangkok final
Andy Murray came through a testing semi-final against Gilles Simon to win 6-2 3-6 6-2 and set up a clash with Donald Young of the USA in the Thailand Open final.
Murray, the top seed, looked set to breeze through the match as he took the opening set 6-2, but Simon had other ideas.
The Frenchman hit back with a clinical break to take the second set and level the match up ahead of a decider.
Murray held his composure to regain the momentum, and he powered through the third set in ruthless fashion to take it 6-2.
The Brit will now face American Young, who defeated Gael Monfils in the other semi-final 4-6 7-6 7-6.
Monfils, the second seed, was absolutely furious at the end of a disappointing defeat, and Young will now take on Murray in the Bangkok showpiece.
