Arsene Wenger saw Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-0 and the performance had him dreaming of Premier League title glory.
Arsenal 3-0 Tottenham
Arsene Wenger (On title challenge): "Do we have enough? I say yes. I've said that since the first day of the season and it won't change now.
"We want to show consistency and intelligence and that is not easy. I believe we have the opportunity and it will be down to our attitude.
"I am positive for us because we have the minimum points with the performances we have produced. Will Tottenham be up there? I don't know. It's too early."
Wenger (On Nicklas Bendtner's injury): "He's got a groin problem, it's quite serious and he could be out four weeks at least."
Harry Redknapp: "The two quick goals we gave away turned the whole game upside down. I thought they were edgy, they were giving the ball away, the crowd was moaning at every mistake. I thought we were going to come in at half-time in great shape.
"There is no gap between the clubs in my opinion. I think two mistakes turned the game upside down."
Roy Hodgson: "We still have got a lot of work to do. I am preaching modesty and humility. To be in the Premier League and to be playing Liverpool and Manchester United and Chelsea is a wonderful achievement for Fulham.
"It is important to keep our feet on the ground and we will have to because this year European competition is a huge stretch on our resources."
Rafa Benitez (On dismissals of Philipp Degen and Jamie Carragher): "They were two incidents in a few minutes when we were losing and they were difficult to take.
"The first one was a yellow card. The second one you can clearly see that Carragher was kicking the ball."
Benitez (On Fernando Torres who was taken off after an hour): "We decided to play Fernando Torres against Manchester United (last Sunday) and it was a difficult decision because he was not 100 per cent fit. He needed four days to be ready and is still not 100 per cent fit.
"We decided to put him on the pitch but we had to protect him and that's why we took him out after 60 minutes. I don't want to lose an important player like Fernando for one month."
Sunderland 2-2 West Ham
Steve Bruce (On Kenwyne Jones's sending off): "Kenwyne was wrong, I can't defend him. He's pushed him. That's all it is.
"Then I see the play-acting and then the medical people running on with an ice pack on an eye injury as if he's got a cut eye and there's nothing there. It's all just a ploy.
"I think there was Big Sam's (Sam Allardyce) quote in the week that if we're not careful we're going to turn it into a game for pansies.
"The referee has got a decision to make but I have to say Ilunga's play-acting left a lot to be desired.
"Whoever it was with the ice swab; he pulled it away and I was looking for a big gash of an inch and a half, I was looking to see if there was a bump. There wasn't even a bruise.
"The one thing that we don't want to see is what goes on around the world, all this diving nonsense. We want to see a spectacle and we got one, but let's not take away what everybody wants to see."
Gianfranco Zola: "Certainly their determination, their desire, was superior to ours, simple as that. They just overcame the man light that they had and that was it.
"We lost control of the game. From a game that was totally, totally ours, we let them in and in this league you can't afford that. We had chances after but it was too late.
"From how the team played in the first half we should come out with a victory. To be fair their comeback was remarkable because it wasn't an easy situation."
Manchester United 2-0 Blackburn
Sir Alex Ferguson: "The players worked very hard as Blackburn set out their stall. You always get a bit concerned when you haven't scored.
"But we don't panic. We have that experience. We can win games in the 93rd minute.
"You need that patience, though, and we improved our penetration in the second half. That is a strong virtue of this club."
Sam Allardyce (On Blackburn's disallowed goal): "We cannot have the opportunity taken away from us after we had worked so hard. It is a disappointing scenario to be left with.
"This is so far onside, it is not a close one. It should have been given. With four minutes to go who knows what might have happened."
Everton 1-1 Aston Villa
David Moyes (On Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's red card): "I don't have any complaints about it. I've seen situations like that where it could have been a sending-off, but I've also seen tackles against our players which haven't been given that are far worse."
Martin O'Neill (On Carlos Cuellar's dismissal and the earlier red for Bilyaletdinov): "The referee was right on the spot for both of them and I think it's pretty clear that he has got the first decision absolutely correct - it's a really nasty challenge and I think it's straightforward.
"But I think he got the second one wrong. I thought at the time that Carlos got the first touch to the ball and I've watched it back since. It's pretty evident that that was the case. I thought the referee would have spotted it.
"I have said before how difficult this game is to referee, really hard. Everybody has the benefit of hindsight afterwards.
"But on that particular occasion I thought that it looked relatively straightforward, and coming so quickly after the other incident, I can't say that I was overly impressed."
Portsmouth 4-0 Wigan
Paul Hart: "Dindane's performances have been just as good but today he got the goals.
"He was desperate to score - all strikers are. He's questioned himself but we have stood by him.
"All my strikers have worked hard but Aruna is very hard on himself.
"He is very strong and he causes problems for defenders and the goals are the icing on the cake for him. Fred also took his goal very well."
Roberto Martinez: "We did not have any intensity or any clarity in our play on the ball.
"We were very poor in everything we did on the ball. When you do that it is difficult, especially away from home.
"We could not find the right pattern in possession. Portsmouth scored at the right times and deserved to win.
"What happened in the week was not a distraction. Obviously you don't want these sort of events away from the pitch (Marlon King's conviction).
"We had too many this week with one of the players getting sentenced and all the paper talk. But that is not an excuse, we had enough time to prepare for the game."
Stoke 2-2 Wolves
Tony Pulis (On Wolves' scoring hero Jody Craddock): "We tried to make Jody Craddock's loan move permanent a couple of years ago.
"We liked Jody. At the time we thought we could get a deal done.
"Unfortunately at the time, Wolves picked up a couple of injuries and it wasn't done."
Mick McCarthy: "Jody nearly left us. We had Gary Breen at the time.
"He came here to Stoke, Tony did like him but he came back to us and he has just been brilliant.
"He actually nearly went out on loan again last season but stayed with us.
"He wasn't playing but then he got back in, became captain and lifted the Championship trophy. He is resilient."
Bolton 0-4 Chelsea
Gary Megson (On Chelsea'a penalty): "It was a soft penalty, I have seen them given and not given.
"Samuel didn't do anything wrong other than to try to get at the ball, I have no problem with (Didier) Drogba, who took the ball across his body and there was going to be contact.
"The referee had a decision to make, and when you get Peter Walton, penalties and Bolton there is only one thing that is going to happen."
Carlo Ancelotti: "It was our aim to make sure that we were still top of the league when we play Manchester United next week.
"We can now play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday with confidence and prepare for a really great match against United."
We accepted the criticism after losing our last two away league games at Wigan and Aston Villa, and we have responded very well.
"It was important to improve after not doing well. After the Villa game we have certainly improved and we are still top of the league."
Burnley 2-0 Hull
Owen Coyle: "I thought we were thoroughly deserving of our win throughout the game. We started well but Phil (Brown) will feel aggrieved because some of the big decisions went against him.
"But we had numerous chances and I believe we should have had the game sewn up by half-time.
"With better decision making we could have come in with more than a one goal lead at half-time but that group of players, everything I asked of them they produced again.
"This was a massive game for us. It put seven points between Hull and us and we're not kidding anybody, we'll be in that group of teams."
Phil Brown: "I think what went for us was the commitment of the players, that's the first thing I will say.
"In terms of a manager asking for a committed performance from a group of players who were under pressure because of the situation that we are in. I don't think anybody can question that.
"Yes decisions have gone against us, probably four in total which tends to lend itself to something else. But we're not here to talk about that.
"With that kind of commitment and that level of performance from my players we'll be fine this season but we have to put a run of games together.
"We've got a big game against Stoke next Sunday and the one thing you need in your locker is commitment."

Fergie - "We can win games in the 93rd minute". Yes, and also in the 97th if you get a dodgy ref
Arsenal lost two points at West Ham due to goal keeping errors and would have remained unbeaten this season but for the dodgy officating of the two Manchester games.Definitely, there is a bit of depth this time around.Lets not also forget that the divisive influence of Adebayor and Toure is now a thing of the past.We now have a team that is like a family that is willing to work for one another. The Gunners are obviously up there with the contenders.Arsenal has always played as a team where anyone who has the chance can score. There is no compartmentalisation of roles!!!

rsenal are in really great shape. Should have been top of the table if not for some tough luck, especially against Man U and West Ham. By the second half of the season, with Wilshire unleashed on tiring teams, they would be in even better shape. Whenever any two of Arshavin, Rosicky and Wilshire play, Arsenal will have enough creativity to maul any team. Defensively, Diaby at last is beginning to track back and mark well. The young lad Eastmong (hope I got the name right) is a future international. Chelsea's football geriatrics will tire by March, while this is weakest Man U team in a long time. Without Rooney are pretty brittle.
Thank god Bendtner is out for a while. That clown is a Blackhole for footballs. Once it goes into him, it nevers comes out. EVERYTIME he touches the ball, He puts his head down and trys to shoot. NEVER makes a pass, or looks for a pass to make.
Not sure they can pick up a solid MF in the X-mas break. but they could really use a mean CM/DM.
Man City players are a bunch of uslees c.unts much like TIRPITZ and THE FUHER
