Grumpy Fabio Capello has pulled the plug on an England World Cup song.
So what are we missing out on? We've taken a look back on the good and the bad songs that have accompanied England over the years to see if Fabio is right.
1990 - World In Motion - New Order
This is without doubt the class horse in the field. John Barnes proved himself a better rapper than a manager and the tune gripped the nation as Bobby Robson, Gazza and co. went so close to glory in Italy.
1970 - Back Home
This was arguably the one that started the ball rolling and it topped the charts for three weeks. 'Back home, they'll be watching and waiting, and cheering every move,' was the line that set the pulses racing while the team battled it out in Mexico.
1998 - Three Lions - Baddiel and Skinner/The Lightning Seeds
This was originally written for the European Championship in 1996 and it proved a huge hit as the nation rallied behind the team. Such was the success, it was rolled out again at France 98 and you just can't help but hum along.
1998 - Vindaloo - Fat Les
An unofficial entry but a catch ditty nonetheless and who doesn't like a nice vindaloo?
2002 - We're on the Ball - Ant and Dec
The Geordie lads have done their best to put their signing career behind them and to be fair you can see why with this effort. I can just see Simon Cowell tearing a strip off them: 'worse than John and Edward.'
2006 (Is this the way) To the World Cup - Tony Christie
'All across the nation, you can taste the expectation. Stevie G go and score for me' You get the drift and they are two of the better lines.

JA FOOTBALL MUSIC IS HORRIBLE..
Three Lions on the shirt, Jules Rimet still gleaming. No more years of hurt, no more need for dreaming.
the trouble with footballers today is thy get tqq much money now.
england are rubish at football
england are rubish at football
What about that awful 1986 one?
We've got the whole world at our feet.
There's not a single team that we can't beat*
(*Except Portugal and Argentina perhaps!!)
Maybe best it wasn't mentioned. Terrible song. None of them have made any difference to England's failings to win the competition. Best without any of these embarrassing tunes.
What about 1982 - "This Time"????
"We're on our way, we are Ron's 22
Hear the roar, of the red, white and blue
This time, more than any other time, this time"
etc......"
