Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was quick to point out the role played by strikers Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba in his side's 4-0 win at Bolton.
Drogba capped the victory with a sublime late goal, and, although Anelka did not score, he proved a menace to his former club all afternoon.
"Nico has been fantastic all season. Along with Didier they are a great partnership," Lampard said.
"He (Anelka) has tremendous pace and balance, particularly when he runs at defenders.
"He is so cool, so we have two players who for me are the best at what they do in the world.
"Nico gives Didier space, he is clever and drifts wide. It is a whole new problem for defenders to cope with. He floats around and Didier has the power."

true. and we have kalou who can come in and do the Anelka role. Sturridge is going to be moulded into the new Drogba. 2 youngsters Di santo and borini I think will eventually give another dimension as well. not seen enough of them yet to get their style but I think Di santo is good in the air and could be like a crespo type, will need to constantlt work on his finishing and composure.
Drogba and Anelka dream team!
