Leeds moved seven points clear at the top of Coca-Cola League One on Saturday thanks to a 4-0 win over Yeovil.
It took Bradley Johnson 42 minutes to break the deadlock but second-half goals from Max Gradel, Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol proved more than enough for Simon Grayson's side.
And the Whites' day was made even better by a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Carlisle for nearest rivals Charlton.
Ian Harte put the hosts ahead at the second attempt four minutes before the break after Carl Ikeme had saved his penalty but Deon Burton levelled with a spot-kick of his own shortly after.
Graham Kavanagh's experience told in the second half as his brace helped Carlisle move away from the bottom four.
MK Dons moved level on points with the Addicks following a 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers. All three goals came in the final 19 minutes, with Peter Leven's penalty and a long-ranger from Jason Puncheon putting the Dons two up before Darryl Duffy headed in a last-gasp consolation.
Paul Ince's side leapfrogged Colchester, who went down to a 2-1 defeat against fellow promotion challengers Millwall.
Fifth-placed Norwich made it five wins from six in the league with a 3-1 victory at Stockport, while Billy Paynter netted twice in a 4-1 victory over Tranmere as Swindon made it another bad day for Rovers.
Bottom side Wycombe also slumped to another defeat, losing 3-2 despite being 2-0 up at half-time against Walsall as a see-saw tussle at the Withdean ended all square as Brighton and Hartlepool drew 3-3.
Rickie Lambert salvaged a point for Southampton with a brace in a 2-2 draw against Leyton Orient, while Exeter moved level on 17 points with Brentford after a thumping 3-0 win over the Bees achieved despite Marcus Stewart's sending off.

Norwich and MK Dons will push us hard, Charlton will fade away and so will Colchester... If we do not go up this year the squad will need to be churned to renew the desire as too many play offs tend to dull the players appetites, but I am positive we will go up as champions and may even hit the 100 point mark!

Yes, were top of the league and we must remain there. MK Dons with Icey could be a threat, but as you say Michael, dont rule out Norwich, an ex-hacmpionship club with big ambitions. Lets keep the momentum going you Super Leeds. Come on the Whites Army, marching onto the title.
The testing time will be the xmas run, if we can get good results then I beleive we will go on to the title. Having seen Millwall win again at home to Colchester they will be our main threat.
The main threat to SUUPER LEEDS is the January window. If we can survive that with the Squad intact we have a great chance. Lets see how serious we really are about promotion. So far so good .
only danger is bates, mark my words.
come on lads we can get to the championship we deserv it too long in this leauge...
Dont think the only danger to leeds is Norwich, MK Dons are playing some good stuff and pulling results out the bag and colchester and charlton will be there or there abouts, But as long as we keep playing as we are we should be heading every closer to were we belong.. Come on Leeds, This is the season we start heading back, and the best way to do it win the league, steer clear of them playoffs. Look at Leicester thats how its done and fair play to them, but its our turn now...Leeds, Leeds, Leeds.
only danger to leeds is Norwich Oh yes we are top of the league we are top of the league
