Munster too strong for Ulster

Sun, 01 Nov 21:03:15 2009

Normal service was resumed at Thomond Park as under-fire defending champions Munster beat Magners League leaders Ulster 24-10.

Two tries in each half earned Munster a bonus point, with full-back Paul Warwick getting the crucial fourth try just seconds from the end.

It was a deserved and much-needed victory for Tony McGahan's men, but again they were guilty of some erratic passing which allowed free-running Ulster to remain in contention.

  2. Good to see some grit back in munster. O gara was poor again but the pack fronted up.
There were still plenty of errors but they looked hungry and deserved the bonus point.
Ulster played hard and looked good for a win until munsters second try but they faded in the second half.
