Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll was pleased with his side's performance in their 3-3 draw with Blackpool.

In a topsy-turvy encounter at the Keepmoat Stadium, Rovers were within minutes of losing until Billy Sharp's late leveller.

Martin Woods had put Rovers ahead in the fifth minute, but Brett Ormerod levelled soon after before Sharp restored Rovers' lead after the break.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas again levelled for the Seasiders before Burgess gave them the lead for the first time in the game. But Sharp had the final say to leave O'Driscoll content.

"It was excellent," he said. "We are not the biggest side in the world and their physicality caused us problems.

"But we stuck with it, didn't get frustrated and got something. I think we created more chances but we have been saying all week what a good side Blackpool are and they showed that."
