Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted his side had paid a heavy price for their mistakes as they lost 3-0 to north London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Spurs frustrated the Gunners for the majority of the first half but fell behind when Robin van Persie converted Bacari Sagna's cross and conceded again 11 seconds later after Cesc Fabregas had caught Wilson Palacios in possession.
Van Persie then added a third for Arsenal on the hour mark to cast doubt over Spurs' ability to finish in the top four.
Redknapp said: "The two quick goals we gave away turned the whole game upside down. I thought they were edgy, they were giving the ball away, the crowd was moaning at every mistake. I thought we were going to come in at half-time in great shape.
"There is no gap between the clubs in my opinion. I think two mistakes turned the game upside down."

#2 - same old rubbish from you tiny @#$%. Football is a worlsd game nowadays. Buy the best players you can not English knobs like Modric, Pavluchenko, Bassong, Gomes, Corluka......
#4 - I was at Finsbury park as well after the game and saw some moron sold enough to know better having a go at a couple of little kids and their Mum. Maybe you can dign on Marlon King when he comes out of nick. He'll fit your fan profile perfectly.
Harry you are talking cobblers mate there is a gap between us and le scum. Just like there is a gap between them and Chavski and manure!!
Harry, a very expensive line up have Spurs, but without any steel.????
I dont believe you think we are a top four side ? get aboard the team comfort
zone they live in, get rid of and relace with guts ???/
Where is your spokesperson ROCK AND ROLL today?! Ha Ha!
This result - and the Stoke one will really test Spurs mettle, it's true that we matched the unmentionables for a while in the 1st half but we are still a work in progress and if we are patient we will only improve, this season will be spent weeding out the players that don't measure up and getting things right on and off of the field. We've got significant financial foundations and the Chairman and Board have to be applauded for that, Harry and his support staff will get it right but an example of 'shooting in foot' was Defoes' red card against Portsmouth! COYS
Harry, wake up and smell the coffee. You arn't the first to say your team is ready for the Arsenal. Speak to Mark Hughes, 200 million and a looseing draw at Birmmingham. Forget about the Goooooners and concerntrate on what your own clubs are doing. At the end of the season is when the chat should start. Wenger for ever.
Before the game Keane said Spurs had better bench.....And he was summoned to grace that bench...How ironic...Spurs will be always behind Arsenal.....and way behind.....Money cant buy you everything...For some things you must have Wenger....
As an Arsenal supporter, I'd say the only gap between the two clubs yesterday was the 3 goals Arsenal knocked into the Spurs net and the 0 goals that Spurs knocked into the Arsenal net.
Apart from that insignificant factor, there was really little to choose between them. Both had a goalkeeper and 10 outfield players, both teams wore football shirts, shorts and a pair of boots etc... I can see where Harry is coming from... if it hadn't been for those mistakes Spurs made the teams would be on a par.
Similarly, Bolton were pretty much Chelsea's equal apart from those 4 goals conceded. Harry is a wise man indeed!
I was in Finsbury Park yesterday evening. All Arsenal fans running around singing 3-0 etc... How effin childish and pathetic that your whole lives revolve around football fighting and being a C*** to your wife.
so basically harry, your saying Arsenal played s h i t but still beat you 3-0?.... mind the gap eh?... and as for frank harvey and his 'spot the english player', what a bitter t w a t! on the showing from king, bentley, jenas and tubby huddleston you can stick your english players up your a r s e.. they are s h i t e!
Yes, A real flattering result for the foreign team that are known as Arsenal. The best bit about watching them is playing your own game of "spot the English player". It can be very difficult
Ex KSLI
Harry, i can't believe you still insist on saying that there is no gap betwween the two teams, wake up and smell the coffee and stop talking @#$%.
