Mark Robins praised the resolve of his Barnsley players after the 2-1 win at Peterborough.
Barnsley had earned plenty of praise in Carling Cup defeat to Manchester United in midweek and the plaudits were again being dished out by the manager after this crucial Coca-Cola Championship success at London Road.
He was seriously impressed with the way his side recovered from going behind to a George Boyd penalty to claim maximum points.
Striking stars Daniel Bogdanovic and Jon Macken did the trick for the Tykes and sent Posh plunging back into the relegation zone in the process.
Robins said: "We had one point on the board when I came to the club. The players have shown how capable they are to turn it around.
"We put in a great performance against Manchester United in the week and got no reward for it, but we got exactly what we deserved from this game."
