Lampre-ISD have signed Davide Vigano for the 2012 season.

The 27-year-old from Carate Brianza joins the team from Leopard Trek where he stayed for just one season before being let go following the merger with RadioShack.

"I'm happy with my choice and at the same time, I feel flattered to be able to join a great club like the one at Lampre," Vigano said.

He will ride as part of Alessandro Petacchi's lead-out train.

"Petacchi has a lot of time for me, and for my part I’ll do everything possible to repay his confidence," added Vigano.
