I believe that that club are in danger of totally­ losing the plot as they are heavily reliant on the­ funds from that lot from Siberia, meaning, the minute­ the plug is pulled, the lot goes down the drain.
This­ has happened to other big clubs in the past. Leeds­ United was the best example of how a club was­ mismanaged into relegation, with many gambles being­ taken. Abramovich reminds me of just another one of­ those power greedy, reckless gamblers. At the end of­ the day, they shall secure their own takings before­ pushing the self destruct button.

I must admit, I had a lot of admiration for Jose­ Mourinho. Letting him go has been a big mistake for the­ club. Not that Avram Grant was bad, he was unlucky not­ to be given a chance to prove himself. It is those who­ have no idea of the game who just hire and fire­ whenever the fancy takes them.

If the ref and linesman have to say sorry for missing­ the offside then Scolari should have to apologise­ everytime one of his players dives or cons the ref. ­ And if, like correspondent 160 says, video technology­ is introduced then it should also be used to­ retrospectively ban/fine/book/send off players who have­ broken the rules and had their offences missed by the­ officials during the game. It works both ways people. ­ Did Chelsea offer to give Arsenal a goal when a Van­ Persie goal was incorrectly disallowed for offside a­ few years ago. I don't think so. If everyone­ continues to give refs such a hard time there soon­ won't be any refs left. No referees = No football.­ And no, I'm not a ref.

What is all the bickering about anyway? The more­ attention you give managers and their players, the more­ they seem to whine and bicker. Chelsea didn't win­ as they were not playing good enough to achieve­ anything in the first place. What is wrong with losing­ honourably?
