Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has welcomed the return of left-back Maynor Figueroa after injury.
The Honduras international played the full 90 minutes in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Sunderland having missed the previous three matches through injury.
With Erik Edman being dropped from the squad after the 9-1 horror show at Tottenham Martinez was delighted to have the ultra-consistent Figueroa back.
"They are completely different players. Maynor is a huge player and an out-and-out defender and gives you a solid outlook," said the Latics boss.
"He got injured against Burnley, came back a little bit quicker than expected and for him to come in and pick up the pace that quickly shows the athlete he is and the mentality he has.
"You can never have enough players like Maynor on the pitch."
