Blackburn manager Mark Hughes has revealed that Sunderland are in the running to sign midfielder Robbie Savage.Hughes told Sky Sports that Rovers have received a number of enquiries for the Welsh midfielder although none have matched the club's valuation.
Savage was not involved in Rovers' 1-0 win over the Black Cats on Wednesday night and could soon be on his way out of Ewood Park.
Speaking after the victory over Roy Keane's men, Hughes said: "We have received a number of enquiries about Robbie Savage but our valuation has not been met.
"Sunderland's interest has been the most definite and we'll know something more in the next few days."
