Scunthorpe have completed the permanent signing of former Liverpool trainee Andrew Wright until the end of the season.Wright has signed until the end of the season with an option for a further year.
He becomes the second player to arrive at Glanford Park during the transfer window after Sheffield United midfielder Mamadou Seck agreed a loan move.
Wright has been playing in the USA for West Virginia University where he recently gained a degree in physical education.
The midfielder has opted to turn professional and impressed the coaching staff during a recent reserve-team match. His deal has the option of a further year.
Meanwhile, Marcus Williams will not serve a suspension after the FA upheld an appeal following his dismissal against West Brom.
