Striker Andy Keogh is an early doubt for Wolves' FA Cup third-round tie at home to non-league Cambridge on Saturday. The 21-year-old Dubliner has been suffering with a chest infection that resulted in him being substituted after 65 minutes of the goalless draw against Sheffield United on New Year's Day.
Keogh was also replaced for the same reason during Saturday's game at Norwich.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy told the club's official website: "He has been pushing his body to the limits.
"After about 10 minutes of the second half (against Sheffield United), he couldn't run. He was absolutely exhausted and that is why I took him off. It was the same on Saturday.
"He was coughing and spluttering and he was starting to struggle. To suggest I took him off for any other reason is nonsense."
