Rotherham manager Mark Robins paid tribute to Ryan Taylor after he came off the bench to score a brace in the 3-0 win over Macclesfield. The 19-year-old striker came on as a 63rd-minute substitute to inspire the victory.
Mark Hudson headed home the opening goal before Taylor's double ended the visitors' brave resistance.
"A special mention must go to Taylor who came on as a substitute and looked electric. He was unlucky not to get his hat-trick," said Robins.
"He came on and lit the place up. I thought he was phenomenal as was Mark Hudson, who did well getting behind their defence.
"I thought it was an excellent performance and an excellent result. In the second half we picked the tempo up a bit and caused them a few problems."
