Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo insists continued speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid is not true.
Ronaldo dazzled for United last season, scoring 42 goals in all competitions as the Red Devils won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
That form led Spanish champions Real Madrid to pursue the 23-year-old during an unsuccessful summer transfer saga, which angered United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
But Real Madrid director Pedro Trapote was quoted in December claiming that his club have a deal in place to sign the Ballon D'Or winner at the end of this season.
Ronaldo, though, has reiterated that the claim is false. "There's always speculation," he said, " not just about me, but about the future of players all around the world.
"People were speaking about me this summer but that was normal because of what I did during the season.
"What people are saying now (the recent speculation about an agreement with Real Madrid) is not true.
"Who says that is a liar because I am happy at the club, I want to stay here. I feel at home here. I feel very happy here."
Meanwhile, Ronaldo admits he felt under pressure to impress after a summer of rumours, but was not worried that fans would turn against him.
"I think the people don't forget quickly what you do for the club," he added. "When I arrived at the stadium, to play (my first game of this season) against Villarreal, I felt a little bit of pressure.
"But the fans were very good and this is why I feel the Manchester United supporters are amazing.
"I love the fans because they have been brilliant with me, not just this season but every season. Like I said before, I feel at home in Manchester."

a very good statment my boy don't go to madrid
lilndis93,how can you call ronaldo your mate? He wouldn't pi55 on you if you were on fire. I take it all man utd fans like having cheats and divers in the team. Look at the likes of Best and Law for real players, they dont need to cheat. They were real men not overpaid little boys who throw tantrums at the drop of a hat
its ronaldo's choice. if he wants to stay he can stay. but he has to bear in mind he has to leave someday. Not many players like gary neville have stayed at their club for the rest of their career. but you can imagine united if ronaldo had gone. they always need a great winger to whipp in magnificent crosses. that's happenned since 1995-96 with david beckham. what's next JI-SUNG PARK!
ronaldo is a very skillful player. No matter what he does he is still a great player.Shut up all who criticise him about being a diver.whether he dives or not we united fans still love him.go ronaldo,go mate
Ronaldo is an overpaid, underworked footballer. If only he didn't dive so much and play up to the ref he might get a bit more respect. When he grows up he might just see that real legends of football are the ones who play the game like a man not a boy,and they manage to stay on their feet for most of the game, and not spend half of it lying on the turf looking for attention.
A great footballer is one that can perform week after week and season after season Ronaldo has done it for one season. Whats gone wrong this season ? in my eyes he has his mind on a move to Real Madrid and does not care about his performaances for United. he gets his wages anyway, why chance getting a bad injury and losing the chance of signing for Madrid.
hes only gonna get stronger if someone scores 42 from the wing then why doesnt Fergie stick him up front ? i mean im not going to argue with Fergie but it seems straight forward to me,hes good in the air ,can finish and whichever way you look at it he gets a lot of decisions. Squarehead if only half the population of Stocky stopped following Utd or City the hatters could make the top flight

Ronaldo can go just like david beckham. He`s reached his peter principle.the only reason he scored so many goals last year was because the whole team was working for him and offering him goals and chances on a golden plate.
Not even as effective as a Teddy Sheringham
ronaldo will stay at united of he will end up like beckham if he leaves united, i dnt believe medias bt all i know is Ronaldo will stay at UNITED WE spoke in portugues to understand each other better. ALL THE BEST FOR UNITED AND THEIR FANS HERE WE COME AGAIN 2009

Do you love traveling and have some experience? Just find me out.
Prague H #22. If I have a winger who plays selfishly and scores 42 goals in a season and helps me to win the Premier League and the Champions League I would have no problem with him. It's another matter if he plays selfishly and fails to score. Some teams do not even score 42 goals for the entire season
