Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson hailed Dean Keates and Joe Lewis following Posh's fifth successive League Two triumph with a win over Bury. While the pint-sized former Walsall midfielder weighed in with a rare headed goal to break the resistance of battling Bury in a gripping London Road game, it was only thanks to the exploits of record-signing goalkeeper Lewis that Posh escaped with maximum points.
Ferguson admitted: "We were nowhere near good enough in the first half and there seemed to be a lot of tension about the place.
"It was a game that was crying out for a change, we made it at half-time, and it worked very well.
"It was good to see Dean get in there with a towering header, but Joe showed what a top-notch goalkeeper he is with his performance at the other end.
"It was a day where we had to graft and ride our luck, but there will be plenty more like that as well."
