Dutchman Steven De Jongh of Quick Step won the 193km Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne race from Rabobank's Sebastian Langeveld and Matthew Goss of Team CSC.
De Jongh came in two seconds ahead of his compatriot in a two-man sprint for the line and four quicker than Australian Goss, while world champion Paolo Bettini crashed out after 15 kilometres.
"I sat on his [Langeveld's] wheel," De Jongh said. "What could I do but follow?"
Goss was at the front of the peleton, which had Belgian Tom Boonen of Quick Step and Italian Enrico Franzoi of Liquigas hot on his heels.
It was a positive result for Quick Step after they suffered disappointment in the opening race of the Belgian season, the Het Volk classic on Saturday, despite star rider Bettini's mishap.
The team said that he would attempt to resume training immediately despite suffering abrasions on his left leg and left arm.
Belgian Bart Dockx of Silence-Lotto was taken to hospital with a hip injury as a result of the crash.
Quick Step's other riders - Belgian champion Stijn Devolder and Gert Steegmans - were also lurking until the final kilometre, but could not quite hang on.
