Lyon coach Claude Puel has backed his charges despite seeing them concede a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Rennes - a result that has thrown the Ligue 1 title wide open.
Sweden midfielder Kim Kallstrom put Les Gones ahead on 65 minutes, but Jimmy Briand levelled in injury time.
"I don't know if we still had the (1-1 Champions League draw) against Barcelona in our heads or legs," Puel said.
"I would rather say that we produced the display we could with the means at our disposal at the moment.
"On occasions, we've been a little fatigued but I think we played well against a well-organised, very disciplined team who tried to stifle us."
Puel added that striker Karim Benzema was a doubt for the midweek Coupe de France last-16 clash at Lille after he came off with a back injury.
Lyon are four points clear of a chasing pack containing Paris St-Germain, Marseille and Bordeaux, all of whom won at the weekend.
