Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has urged the club not to fine skipper Chris Morgan after his sending off at Preston.Morgan was dismissed for a second bookable offence in the Blades' 3-1 defeat by North End on Saturday, but the boss has argued for his captain to escape internal disciplinary action as is usually the norm at Bramall Lane.
"I told Morgs on the bus home that he won't be getting a fine from me," Blackwell told the Sheffield Star. "I don't think he deserved to be sent-off.
"He already feels he is the victim of an injustice and I also feel he was harshly done by so I don't want to make him feel any worse."
