Tranmere midfielder Steve Jennings has urged supporters to stick with his side as they enter the final straight in the promotion race.Rovers are well-placed to secure a play-off berth and lie sixth place in League One ahead of this weekend's trip to Walsall.
However, Jennings has pleaded with fans to continue their backing throughout the full duration of Saturday's game and believes their vocal support could prove the difference for Rovers' promotion ambitions.
He said: "If things aren't going your way in the first twenty minutes or so, you don't need people jumping on your back.
"The game is over 90 minutes and if you score in the first minute and win 1-0 or the last minute and win 1-0, it's neither here nor there.
"The added pressure will hopefully spur us on."
