Wed 02 Apr, 09:15 PM

Shrewsbury utility man Kelvin Langmead could return to training as early as next week following a positive prognosis on his knee injury. The 22-year-old, who had featured in every game for the Shrews this season up to Saturday's defeat at home to Bury, had been ruled out with a knee problem but received good news at a specialist on Monday.

Paul Simpson told the Star: "It's good news in that it is not a long-term problem.

"We are hoping Kelvin will be back in training later this week, or at the start of next, but it's not something we will take a chance on."
