Frank Lampard returns as Chelsea travel to Istanbul to face Fenerbahce in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final, and the Blues are expected to continue with an otherwise similar line-up to that which has seen them move up to second in the Premier League.

There are no fresh injury concerns for the Blues, with Didier Drogba having shaken off a knock picked up during the weekend win over Middlesbrough and expected to start alone up front with Nicolas Anelka on the bench against his former side.

Frank Lampard has trained after recovering from food poisoning and travelled with the squad to Istanbul, although goalkeeper Petr Cech (ankle) was left behind, with Carlo Cudicini continuing in his place.

Anelka - who spent 18 months at Fenerbahce before joining Bolton - reckons the home support will be intense at the very least.

"It's going to be crazy inside the stadium," he said. "We will have to be careful because they play good football, as well, and they have many good players."

Fenerbahce, meanwhile, will not risk the fitness of veteran left back Roberto Carlos, with fellow Brazilian Gokcek Vederson expected to start in his place.

Right back Gokhan Gonul is suspended, meaning Onder Turaci starts at right back.
