Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander looks set to hand opportunities to a number of youngsters when his side make the trip to Chester on Saturday.Alexander has masterminded the Silkmen's move away from the relegation zone since taking over from Ian Brightwell in late February.
Five wins from their last nine games going into the trip to the Deva Stadium has given Alexander the luxury of fielding fringe players and youngsters in their final game.
Alexander said: "This gives me the opportunity to have a look at some of the players on the fringes of the side such as Levi Reid.
"John Rooney will also be given his debut and I also hope to include the likes of Matthew Flynn and Andy Teague who I haven't had chance to see play at all."
Defender Ryan Cresswell is still out injured while Sean Hessey and Terry Dunfield will be rested.
