On-fire Stockport striker Liam Dickinson has been ruled out of the final game of the regular season against Brentford at Edgeley Park.Dickinson, who has scored 19 goals this season, picked up a hamstring strain during Tuesday's goalless draw at Chester.
He will miss out against the Bees but is hoping to be available for County's forthcoming two-legged play-off semi-final.
Former Sheffield Wednesday forward Adam Proudlock could earn a starting berth in Dickinson's absence, while boss Jim Gannon has another concern after Jason Taylor also picked up a knock against Chester.
The midfielder was forced off after 43 minutes and replaced by Paul Turnbull.
Stockport's automatic promotion hopes were ended last weekend after Hereford won 3-0 at Brentford to secure third place in League Two.
