Brighton are light in midfield with Steven Thomson a major doubt and Therry Racon having left ahead of the home clash with Swansea on Saturday.Thomson has been laid low with a bug this week and is unlikely to be fit in time while Racon has been recalled one game early from his loan spell by Charlton.

Tommy Fraser is an obvious replacement for one of them in the centre while David Martot, who has recovered from a sprained ankle, or Jake Robinson could also deputise.

Gary Hart, Adam El-Abd and Adam Hinshelwood (all knee) remain on the long-term casualty list.

Youngster Sam Gargan made his Brighton debut as a late substitute against Bristol Rovers last weekend and will again hope to be involved against the League One champions at the Withdean Stadium.
