Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore will assess the fitness of Jennison Myrie-Williams and Calvin Zola ahead of the final-day trip to Northampton.On-loan Bristol City winger Myrie-Williams is nursing a knee injury which has forced him to miss the last three games.
Striker Zola has also missed the last three games due to a hamstring strain and both players could remain on the sidelines.
Moore insists his side - who cannot finish higher than eighth in League One - will face a stern test at Sixfields.
The encounter is essentially meaningless for both sides as they cannot be relegated or qualify for the play-offs.
However, Moore said: "It's going to be hard because Northampton are a big strong side who pass it."
