Scott set to continue with rotation

Fri 02 May, 12:00 PM

Brentford manager Andy Scott is set to continue with his experimentation for the club's last game of the season against high-flying Stockport.Scott has used the last four games of the season to try out different personnel and systems ahead of a push for promotion next year and is set to again change it around.

Goalkeeper Ben Hamer is likely to remain between the sticks after Simon Brown was dropped following a horrendous error in the 3-1 defeat at Lincoln.

The 20-year-old Reading loanee put in a solid display and saved a penalty as Scott's men lost 3-0 at home to Hereford last Saturday.

The Bees remain without Nathan Elder for their final game of the season after the striker had an operation on his niggling knee injury.

In Elder's absence Ricky Shakes is expected to lead the line again alongside Alan Connell. Brentford will be looking to avoid a third successive defeat in the hope of securing a top-half finish.
