Arsenal star Robin van Persie will miss Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton but Mathieu Flamini could be on the bench at the Emirates.Van Persie is being rested as a precautionary measure after sustaining a slight thigh injury in the 6-2 thrashing of Derby.

Flamini could return to the squad after recovering from his ankle problem but winger Alexander Hleb is suspended.

Tomas Rosicky (knee) and Eduardo (broken leg) remain sidelined.

Kick-off is at 1.30pm.
