Real Madrid can wrap up the league title if Villarreal fail to beat Getafe or if they win at Osasuna this weekend.

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro said his side have not had it easy this season.

"Now everyone is saying that it is easy to win the league, but it hasn't been," the Italian told a news conference this week.

"We were very strong in the first half of the season, getting a record number of points and winning at difficult grounds like the Nou Camp, Vicente Calderon and Mestalla. We were a little bit worried when Barcelona and Villarreal were close to us. So it hasn't been an easy league."

Real, 10 points clear at the top with four games to go, can wrap up the league title if Villarreal fail to beat Getafe or if they win at Osasuna later on Sunday.

Osasuna midfielder Javad Nekounam is convinced his side will be able to delay Real's celebrations.

"They aren't going to be crowned champions when they play here," said the Iran international. "I'm certain we will beat them."

Osasuna are only two points above the relegation zone and need to win to stave off the danger of dropping out of the top flight.

Barca forward Lionel Messi is still hoping coach Frank Rijkaard and former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho will not leave the club at the end of the season.

"For me there is no one better than Rijkaard and he can start again from scratch next season. It would be a shame if Ronaldinho left after all he has done for the club. No one would like to see him go."

Barca, who are four points adrift of Villarreal in fourth place, are at home to Valencia on Sunday.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia has called for the club's fans to get behind the team for Saturday's match against struggling Recreativo Huelva, a match they must win to ensure they remain in fourth place in the table.

"I can understand the fans if they whistle the team when they play badly, but they should do that at the end of the game and not at the start," Garcia was quoted as saying in the Spanish media on Friday. "If we want to achieve things we need the support of the fans."

Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito will return to lead his team's attack alongside Ricardo Oliveira for Saturday's match at home to Deportivo Coruna.

"I've had a bad time looking on from the stands and I just want to help save the team from relegation," said the Argentine.

Zaragoza occupy the final relegation spot, two points behind Osasuna and Recreativo.

Javier Clemente's Real Murcia could be relegated this weekend if they lose at Racing Santander, or either Recreativo or Osasuna win their respective matches.
