Hartlepool have agreed a deal to bring striker Adam Boyd back to the club from Leyton Orient.
The 26-year-old was a firm favourite at Victoria Park, scoring 29 goals in the 2004/05 season to help the club reach the League One play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday.
He left Pools for Luton in 2006, but after failing to hold down a regular place he moved to Orient in 2007.
