Phil Brown believes the spitting row with Arsenal may have damaged people's perception of Hull.
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas was charged with improper conduct after being accused of spitting at assistant boss Brian Horton following the teams' FA Cup tie, while Brown has also been charged by the FA over his criticism of the referee, Mike Riley.
Brown admits it may have altered people's impression of the club.
"Possibly it did," he told The Times. "I can't go overboard about that because it's part of an inquiry and I'm under FA scrutiny, but there was a lot (that) went on after the game."

Maja.......! hate Phil brown by all means, but leaved Hull City, the Players and fans out of it please! C`mon Tigers
P,B. has ruined whatcould have been a great season for hull city i moved from hull 52 years ago but i still support the tigers and go to see them when i can in may mind P,B, should be sacked as he has shown he is a very poor manager just look at the results since november what other club would have kept him on, Brian city fan watford
Maja......2007! Don`t blame the players and fans of Hull City for Brown apparent lack of scruples! He reminds me a bit of the Argentine Dictator Galiteri who tried to hide his miserable efforts by invading the Falklands! I know, but you get my meaning?
Honestly we dont know what went on,with fabergas affair ,I agree it has been has blown out of proportion, and put PB and Hull in a bad light,as for critsism of Referee, all managers are at it,bad decisions have have changed many games this year in Premiership ,more so critical ones, to clubs fighting for survival, about time they introduced video referee on vital decisions ,anything to make the game fair, to many simulated fouls ,and 50/50 decisions are spoiling run of play, and ruining entertaining games
Phil Brown is a disgrace to his profession i personally think he was lying went he said our Captain spat at his assistant, i hope they go down they were flying high amongst the big boys just look at them i hate Phil Brown with a passion.
To imagine that we gave our Facilities to Brown to prepare for the play-offs.
i let him know what i thought of him at Anfield and he diddnt like it.
Brown got it wrong by suggesting that by Fabregas spitting and wenger not shaking his hand is what the club is about. That was a big insult on a top four English/european club. If Fabrgas spat or Wenger didnt shake him, that does not represent what Arsenal is as a club. He should have been able to distingusih the actions of staff from the club. I hope Hull goes down. And of course you know what, Brown will be shown the door.
Just how low can this bloke stoop.
First of all Arsene Wenger never shook his hand when cameras/pictures proved otherwise. The next thing he's now blaming Arsene because he couldnt find him to speak to after the game.
Come on own up you cocked it right up and are now trying to cover your backside - you're an absolute disgrace and I truly hope the FA throw the book at you.
Phil Brown started off by walking on water, now he is scared and has lost the plot, you can see it in his eyes unfortunately. I hope he regains his composure for the weeks ahead and Middlesbrough and Newcaste maintain the same form as us.
Come on you Tigers, we luv ya
Too bleeding right its damaged peoples perception of Hull! Its damaged mine and I was born there! The whole thing should never have been brought up but quietly settled as befits grown men in responsible position! C`mon Tigers!
You've got Middlebrough and Newcastle holding you up at the moment "Brown Pants". One of them is not going to be doing it for much longer.
GO BACK WHERE YOU BELONG!
Tigers? Pffff.... more like a bunch of furry "TIGGERS".
blame your losses on Fabregas why don't u, fik off u can't stay consistent so its your fault
