Paul Wotton and Lee Holmes are out of Southampton's final game in the Championship at Nottingham Forest.

Experienced midfielder Wotton is sidelined after suffering a fractured upper jaw towards the end of last weekend's 2-2 draw with Burnley.

And winger Holmes, who has suffered an injury-hit season, tweaked his ankle ligaments in training on Wednesday and will also sit out.

Zoltan Liptak has returned to his parent club in Hungary but fellow defenders Wayne Thomas (knee), Lee Molyneux (hamstring) and Olly Lancashire (groin) are fit again and could be involved.

Simon Gillett made a surprise return against Burnley following knee surgery and should feature again but fellow midfielder Anthony Pulis (foot) is still out along with Michael Svensson (Achilles), Jamie White (leg) and Matt Paterson (broken nose).
