Duo missing for Sky Blues

Coventry's threadbare squad will be further depleted by the absence of left-back Dan Fox and midfielder Kevin Thornton for the trip to Portman Road for Roy Keane's first home game as Ipswich manager.

The Sky Blues were already without nine players for their final Championship fixture before Fox was sent off in the defeat to Watford last week and Thornton suffered a shoulder injury in training.

Fox starts a three-match suspension, meaning he will also miss Coventry's first two games next season.

A knee injury prevented Clinton Morrison from training during the early part of the week but City's top scorer is expected to feature.

Fellow forward Leon Best has resumed training after a groin injury and is in contention, while midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin is also available again after missing the Watford game through illness.

Manager Chris Coleman was considering giving former Ipswich keeper Andy Marshall one final run-out before he leaves Coventry in the summer but the 34-year-old is struggling to overcome a back problem.
